Cleopatra's ears twitched as she continued to listen to the male, his words were most welcome and she wanted to believe him. She did believe him. He was so sincere that it hurt and she knew that no male would ever be this upfront and truthful with her. His words rang with an honesty that she'd never heard before except from her cousin Tou.
She thought for a moment about what she wanted to say and then spoke, "I am flattered, Seti. Before I make a final decision where I want to sleep tonight, may I walk and talk with you a bit more? If you had been any other lion that I had met in my travels my answer would most certainly be a no but because of how kind you seem to be... I am not sure what I want to do. I suppose I should thank your parents for raising you to be such a respectable and kind male." She gave a half smile at Seti while she watched him rub his head against he tree.
"Questions for you?" The female allowed her brow to crease as she thought of something plausible to ask him and quite quickly it came to her. "Tell me, Seti, why are you alone now? You say that your parents died bu what of your other pridemates? Did they die as well?" To her it was strange for a lion to be on their own unless they were an exile, like her, or if there pride was killed in some way. Though she had to admit to herself that it would be difficult to kill an entire pride of lions.
