ashen
ashen - female - Australian shepherd - 4 year - GROUP - RANK
i wanna know the real you
personality
Ashen. She is conniving, really she is. Though she is often cloistered, she is not weak. She is infallible, mendacious, and articulate in his speech. Ashen has a prudent manner about her, always thinking things though before she did it. In all veracity, she is as cogent as a dog much older in age, and never has she fallen to the depths of verbosity. She is dogmatic, and astute, perceptive, weighty in everything. Though she is taciturn, she is fervent in learning things intelligible and unintelligible.
Ashen has the talent for arresting the attention of those around her, whether they like it or not. Some show this by taunting the gaunt dog. They eschew her if possible. Though she is much smarter, wiser than her peers, she did not patronize them, for she is a firm believer in equality. She is the silent type, saying nothing unless spoken to. But this causes a rift between and those of her kind, causing many a blame to fall upon her because she is incapable of defending herself well.

don't cry BECAUSE love is here
summary/past
Ashen had a family, yes. A human family whom she loved very much. They had taken her in from the pound when she was but a pup, showing her all the love and affection as needed. Her human sister, Bleu, made sure that everything that Ashen needed was there and often, they would play in the afternoons when Bleu got home from when the humans called, school. Also part of the family were Maze, a cheery canary, and Edge, a dark-colored dog. It had never come into Ashen's mind that her family might actually... leave her.
As a young pup, Tilt, the cat, often teased her about her long legs, causing Ashen to feel rather insecure about herself. However, Ashen became tired of the jeering and attacked the black cat. Ashen won and therefore, the cat never taunted her again.
However, when Wren died, Ashen took it hard. She lashed out in an outburst of rage and pain. She ended up biting her beloved sister. Then, at two years of age, Steve turned her out of the house. Ashen waited before their door, awaiting for it to open, to allow her back in. It never happened. There were no longer sounds within the brick house she had called her home for two wonderful years.

roleplay example
It was one of those sweltering summer days, you know, the ones when heat became visible and seemed to rise off the of roads in what looked like puddles of water. It was one of those days when sweat lost it's boundaries and broke out in beads all over your pelt, causing your fur stick to your body, dampened by ones own sweat. It was one of those days, when the air, so hot, became thick and you felt like suffocation waited right around the corner every time you inhaled. Heat waves ruled the city.
The poorer neighborhoods resounded with the gleeful screams, giggles, and chatter as the children cooled themselves in the cold water that spewed with from from the red fire hydrant on the sidewalk. Mother sat up in their apartments, watching their children from their seat before the air conditioning unit. The firemen sitting on the back of their engine, conversed, their words hanging in the still air as they watched the children at play. The subway was stiff with stale, hot air, causing irritable people and foul moods all around.
She saw all of this, watching with clear hazel eyes, the goings on about her. But the faraway look was evident within her eyes; she was not paying attention. Her mind, her soul was elsewhere.
The spotted dog often wondered if it was how she had found out, or the fact that no one had told her. That was most likely what had triggered her outburst, the outburst that had ruined her life. To this day, she was still quite surprised when she remembered, but still, Ashen knew that even under those circumstances, where her next actions justified. Ashen but her. No, no, not a meager nip. Her teeth dug into her arm. The fore, and the swiftness were a dangerous combination. However, it did the job well.
