CHAPTER 1 | BLEEDING OUT
Several years have passed since the Rainbow War I. Demond and Rogue still refuse to patch things up after Rogue was not chosen to be his father's heir. Demond banished his oldest son and the group that aided him to the other side of Genso Mori, to Crystal Creek. At first everyone was in an uproar about the decision. This started Rainbow War II. Demond attempted to stop it, but to no avail. Many wolves died during those few months.
Fast forward to the full moon of July. The alphas were growing weary of this constant fighting. Rogue had begun to see the damage he had caused his extended family. He sent his own oldest son, Chase, to his father with a message. "Meet me at Sairento Ki." it said. The alpha pairs; Demond and Fuji, and Rogue and Natalya, met up in the center of the sacred grounds. It was there, under the full moon, that they signed the treaty known today as Mangetsu; Full Moon. It stated that on every full moon night of each month that the two packs would meet in peace to converse with family, friends, and introduce new arrivals.
The present day Rainbow Crest and Crystal Creek packs are 20 strong each. Outwardly they show no signs of discord amongst each other. They each function as a unit like any normal wolf pack would. Inwardly, however, bad blood is beginning to come to a boiling point. Some of the wolves in their respective pack are growing tired of this treaty. They strongly believe that Rogue and his group shouldn't have been allowed to live after his failed assassination attempt on his own father. If these rebellious few are not quelled soon, things may start bleeding out.
